Product Description

Multiple External Temperature Sensors is a 3-way DS18B20 temperature sensor that uses LoRa spread spectrum wireless communication, supports standard LoRaWAN wireless protocol, and has built-in global regional specifications (such as EU868, US915, AU915, AS923, IN865, etc.). Users can adapt to various LoRaWAN standards in different regions by simply configuring and selecting different regional specifications when using the LoRaWAN mode.

Key Features Highlights of the Multiple External Temperature Sensors:

  • Waterproof Design: The sensors are designed to be waterproof, allowing them to withstand moisture and wet environments, making them suitable for various applications, including kitchens and greenhouses
  • Accurate Temperature Monitoring: Multiple External Waterproof Temperature Sensors(MEWTS)provide precise temperature monitoring capabilities, ensuring reliable and accurate temperature measurements in real time.
  • External Placement: These sensors can be placed externally, allowing for easy installation and flexibility in monitoring temperature in different locations or devices.
  • Wide Temperature Range: MEWTS are capable of measuring a wide temperature range, making them suitable for diverse environments and applications.
  • Wireless Connectivity: The sensors utilize wireless connectivity, such as LoRaWAN, enabling seamless transmission of temperature data over long distances to a central monitoring system or cloud platform
  • Low Power Consumption: These sensors are designed with low power consumption, ensuring long battery life and minimizing the need for frequent maintenance or battery replacement.

Use Case 1: Real-Time Temperature Monitoring for Kitchen Appliances and Storage Equipment Using LoRaWAN Technology

These waterproof temperature sensors can be installed in refrigerators, coolers, and storage devices within the kitchen. They transmit temperature data to a LoRaWAN gateway using the LoRaWAN protocol, which is then connected to a cloud platform or data management system through the network. Chefs and food service personnel can monitor the temperature of different storage devices in real time through a monitoring system. If the temperature exceeds the set safety range, the system will send alert notifications to take timely measures to prevent food spoilage or contamination. Additionally, these sensors can record temperature data for traceability of food quality and compliance.

Use Case 2: Enhancing Food Safety with Waterproof Temperature Sensors in Kitchens and Greenhouses Using LoRaWAN Technology

These waterproof temperature sensors can be installed at different locations within the greenhouse to monitor temperature variations required for plant growth. They can measure the temperature inside the greenhouse as well as on the surface of plants, and transmit the data to a LoRaWAN gateway via the LoRaWAN protocol. Greenhouse operators can monitor the temperature data in real time through a cloud platform or data management system. Based on the collected data, they can adjust the heating, ventilation, and irrigation systems of the greenhouse to ensure plants grow under suitable temperature conditions. Furthermore, these sensors can be used in conjunction with other environmental parameter sensors such as humidity and light intensity sensors to provide comprehensive greenhouse environment monitoring and control.
